Slimed! Vacation Bible School

PreK and kids who have just finished kindergarten-5th grade are welcome to join our exciting VBS this year. Sometimes in life it feels like we've been slimed! Sometimes it's because of decisions we make, sometimes it's from decisions others make that hurt us. Through the life of Jacob, kids will learn that when we stick to God, He can make something beautiful out of any slimy situation.

A veces en la vida, ¡parece que nos han "empegostado" o "ensuciado"! A veces es por decisiones que tomamos, a veces es por decisiones que otros toman y nos lastiman. A través de la vida de Jacob, los niños aprenderán que cuando nos apegamos a Dios, Él puede hacer algo hermoso de cualquier situación "pegajosa" o "desagradable".

Papua New Guinea Missionaries, The Palmers

Whit and Skiler grew up in the South Texas District attending the Nazarene churches in Temple and Belton. They are headed to Papua New Guinea as missionaries in July. They will be speaking at our church on Sunday, May 4. Let’s plan to attend and help these young missionaries on their way.
South Texas District Assembly Week
Everyone is invited to attend the two inspirational evening services on Wednesday, April 30, and Thursday, May 1, at 7:00 pm at Living Word Church of the Nazarene, 16607 Clay Rd in Houston. District business and workshops are held in the day sessions on Thursday & Friday, with services both Wednesday & Thursday nights. Dr. Gustavo Crocker will be the presiding General Superintendent. The Thursday night service is the ordination service. Childcare is available for Birth-5 yrs.
