Seeking God's Signs: Reflections on Sunday’s message

Dear Church Family,

I hope this email finds you well and still reflecting on our recent sermon about Gideon and the importance of seeking God's guidance in our lives.

The message explored the story of Gideon from the book of Judges, highlighting how we often seek signs from God when facing uncertainty or challenges. It emphasized that while God may provide signs, our primary focus should be on worshiping and trusting Him. The message reminded us that the ultimate sign we need is the cross of Jesus Christ, which demonstrates God's love and commitment to us.

Takeaways:

  • We should not question God's promises based on our current circumstances. God is always faithful and present, even when we can't see or understand His plan.

  • True worship precedes signs. Instead of asking for signs to worship, we should worship God first and trust that He will guide us.

  • The cross of Jesus Christ is the most important sign we have as believers. It points to God's love and sacrifice for us, providing all the assurance we need.

As we move forward in our faith journey, let's remember to put God first in everything we do. Whether we're seeking direction for our personal lives or for our church, let's anchor ourselves to the truth of Christ's life, death, and resurrection.

May we continue to grow in our trust and obedience to God, knowing that He is always with us and working for our good.

In His grace,

^PJ
