Encountering God's Holiness: A Reflection on Isaiah's Vision
I hope this email finds you well and still reflecting on our recent sermon about Isaiah's powerful encounter with God.
The sermon explored Isaiah's vision of God's holiness as described in Isaiah 6. We delved into the profound implications of encountering God's holiness, our own sinfulness, and the transformative power of God's redemption. The message emphasized how this ancient vision applies to our spiritual lives today, challenging us to respond to God's call with willingness and obedience.
Takeaways:
God's holiness is beyond our comprehension, described as "holy, holy, holy," reminding us of His supreme majesty and our need for humility.
When we truly encounter God's holiness, we become acutely aware of our own sinfulness, but God provides cleansing and redemption.
Our response to God's forgiveness and calling should be immediate and willing, like Isaiah's "Here I am, send me."
As we go about our week, let's remember that we are called to be God's temple in this world. May we carry the profound truth of God's holiness and redemption with us, allowing it to shape our interactions and inspire our service to others.
Let us strive to keep our eyes, ears, and hearts open to God's presence and calling in our lives, responding with the same eagerness as Isaiah.

The church office will be closed this Friday, July 4th, in observance of Independence Day, reopening on Monday, July 7th.

Hi Kids Camp Friends and Family!
We’re getting SO excited about returning to camp NEXT week! We have a great group of Kids and Counselors getting ready to gather at Trinity Pines for a life changing week. Please be intentional about praying for both teen (this week) and kids camp (next week).
We have an amazing tradition in South Texas, where churches help to make Kids camp amazing by donating items for the week.

Family Promise
Sunday-Sunday | July 6-13
Our week for helping homeless families in the community to break the cycle of homelessness starts this coming Sunday. If you have considered providing an evening meal, staying overnight as a chaperone, fellowship (visit with families & entertain kids), or helping in some other way, please sign up at Info-Central. Help is also needed for set-up after church on Sunday, July 6 and clean-up early Sunday morning, July 13. Learn more about the national Family Promise organization at www.fplh.org.

Women’s “Life is Sweet” Craft & Luncheon Fundraiser
Saturday | July 12 | 10:00 am - 12:30 pm | Cost: $20
All women are invited to join us for our “sweet” craft and delicious luncheon. Most craft supplies & paints will be provided, but feel free to bring any extra ribbons, beads, etc. to help personalize your candy jar. Proceeds will benefit the 2026 Women’s Retreat.

VBS - Vacation Bible School Slimed
Monday-Friday | July 28 - Aug 1 | 6:00-8:30 pm | PreK-5th grade
PreK and kids who have just finished kindergarten-5th grade are welcome to join our exciting VBS this year. Sometimes in life it feels like we've been slimed! Sometimes it's because of decisions we make, sometimes it's from decisions others make that hurt us. Through the life of Jacob, kids will learn that when we stick to God, He can make something beautiful out of any slimy situation. To register your kids, click HERE.
